BioHello, my few readers!
This is the startup blog of one geeky girl, hoping to give you a taste of everything.
I'm an early-twenties female in the NYC area. I enjoy reading, science-fiction, RPGs (of the pencil and paper variety), videogames (mostly rhythm, RPGs, or RPG-influence action/aventure games), board games, theater-style LARPing, movies, comics, gadgets, fixing computers, and television.
I have no illusions about being "hardcore." I'm not, nor do I aspire to be.
For what it's worth, my "geek cred" is as follows:
Favorite TV shows, past and present: Stargate SG-1, Firefly, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, House
Favorite movies: What Dreams May Come, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Matrix, Star Wars (the original trilogy), Harry Potter, Titan A.E.
I enjoy the following writers, of literature or comics: Neil Gaiman, Neal Stephenson, William Gibson, Philip K. Dick, Isaac Asimov, Jim Butcher, Gregory Maguire, Richard Matheson, J.K. Rowling, Charles Stross, Brian K. Vaughan, Joss Whedon, Warren Ellis, Garth Ennis, Frank Miller, Bill Willingham
(That was far easier than listing all my favorite books and comics)
Videogames I love: Elder Scrolls: Oblivion (PC, XBox 360), Mass Effect (XBox 360), Eternal Sonata (XBox 360)
Consoles I own: Wii, PS2
